McDonald Creek Reflection, Glacier National Park, Montana.
Its difficult to stand anywhere in this Crown of the Continent park and not find a beautiful jaw dropping scene. Creating an enduring photograph is a much taller order. On this beautiful fall day with the larch trees turning their seasonal color I was looking for a way to convey this landmark creek differently, something a bit more enigmatic, esoteric or intimate. After a period of time beating through the bushes and bushwacking around the creek bed, I came upon this scene. It was better than I had hoped for, its a keeper.
